Why decorate your business for the holidays?
by
I have recently created a value added service to my clients, that can help alert them when a popular holiday or seasonal event is coming up that would be a good reason for a promotion. This alert is to save on the last minute panic and scrabble that comes from not being prepared.
I recently had a client ask me why would I do this or care about this?
And I appreciate the questioning of the concept. I came up with this as a response.
The main reason for updating your website and ad campaigns to reflect a seasonal theme is to welcome your visitors.
By adding something that is specific to the current time, shows you care about giving a pleasant user experience for your visitors.
Just think of Google and how you feel when you do a search on “professional graphic design” (ahem shameless plug) and see that the Google logo has some theme unique to the time of year.
Now think of how you can translate that idea for your business.
And that is what the alerts are for, its a chance to be told ok now is time to start preparing assets to launch in time for the next such and such season, without the scramble.
