Here is an article describing that website owners need more than just a website designer, they need a generalist that can help their business utilizing all the technologies that can be used to market a business online.
I can’t agree more, this is such a great time to be in business, the technology and the scope you can reach with technology is so large, completely unobtainable as short as say 3 to 5 years ago.
A lot of these strategies take time and money, but never has there been a greater return on investment. People wouldn’t be doing them and continuing to do them if this weren’t true.
So I think the goal here is to do two things;
1) to inspire business and website owners to start engaging an aggressive online marketing campaign.

c. Twitter Strategy
d. Blogging Strategy
c. Organic Search Engine Optimization Strategy
d. A Facebook Presence
e. Youtube channel
f. Press Release Campaign
g. Retargeting with a “Fetchback Banner Ad Campaign”
h. Site Analytics
i. Competition Analysis
j. Printed Brochures
k. Digital Brochures
l. Powerpoint Presentations (Uploaded to Slide-hare, linked to your LinkedIn Account)
m. Print Ads
n. Direct Mail Piece
o. Custom Proposal Packets
2) next is to consider hiring a generalist firm to handle this work.
You can hire specialist in each of these categories. The article points out by doing that you will also need to either try and pull all of these people together or hire a full time project manager to keep everyone straight, and not to mention the multiple bills your will get form each specialists.
