It always amazes me that when I want to use a handwritten font to use in a graphic design project I am always flabbergasted with the lack of the right fit. You would think this is a simple task, many times I have actually written and scanned in the writing, then redrawn in illustrator, but who has time to do that all the time.

The font has the potential to be to elegant, or to frilly, or to grungy, or to eligible.

This collection seems to hit all the marks which will make it easier to find the right font for the right occasion.

Target Audience Research

I love the challenge of trying to get inside my customers head, but how am I suppose to do that< if I knew what my customers where thinking when they would fill out the get estimate form or called the studio I wouldn’t ask them how may I help you.

I agree that we need to think from the perspective of the customers, but I wished there was a way or better tools to better research the trends of the customers, because without real research tools, its only my opinion of what the customers are looking for without any real proof that what I am marketing towards is correct or not…

Marketing your in this day and age

When owning your own business, its exciting to be your own boss, being able to call your own shots. But one of the biggest challenges, is where do you get new business from. Well in this day and age its easier than let’s say a few years ago, with your website, blogs, facebook, twitter. But one of my favorites is creating a youtube tutorial video, with an eblast to your best client list promoting the new video.

Apple inspired websites

There is so much good, you can find in apple it is many times a starting point in my inspirada for my web development. And the beginning of this post shows a lot of reasons why its just so good, I will be referencing this quit a bit in the near future. The samples are awesome as well, the only issue I have is the few that is so similar it looks like the only thing that was changed was the name. I believe in mimicking a successful website, so you can learn how to make your own designs better but there really isn’t much to learn if you don’t add anything to the design…
