by Noel Wiggins

It is common place for a website to want to put a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page on their website. Which I agree is a great idea. But after seeing this easy solution to creating a Q&A feature for your website I think this would more interactive way to handle this task of having an FAQ section to your website.

2 types of Revisions Billable and Non Billable

by Noel Wiggins

One of the biggest issues any new project may have is the need for tweaks and revisions.

In the creative industry such as professional graphic design, there are ton of unknown variables and endless possibilities, but if the project is priced on a flat rate basis vs, a time and material basis, then these tweaks and revisions need to be monitored and controlled in a professional manner.

Motion Graphics process and workflow

When doing a motion graphic project I get so excited and want to jump right into the animation of the project. But the more planning I do in the beginning the less time I spent being unproductive story boarding and organizing your files properly are two crucial elements that help a smooth workflow… Creativity should be in your project not on how you do the project…

Where does bad design come from?

by Noel Wiggins

When designing there is a constant battle of creating and editing the design, the conflict can often times get out of control and I have to admit that many times I will judge how much the editor and creator will fight each other based on how much money the project is bringing to the studio.

For the most part I do aim to design “better” with each new design. I love the saying from the advertising industry that says that you are only as good as your last ad. But, I have seen another reason why I think bad work exists, and that is from the client in the final approval stage.
